Join Nikki, Leah and our partners in supporting NHS staff on the frontlines of this pandemic who are struggling to access period products. Your donation will contribute to stocking NHS wards with free, organic period products.
Periods don’t stop for anything - not even a pandemic. With staff working impossibly long hours fighting COVID-19 on the frontlines, the last thing they want to be worrying about is bleeding through their clothes, not having enough tampons to get them through a shift, or suffering the anxiety of not knowing when they’ll be able to get to a shop to buy supplies.
Here at ohne we wanted to do whatever we could to help out. We’ve launched a campaign to stock NHS wards around the UK with free, organic period products so that staff have one less thing to worry about in these trying times. With the help of our allies in the startup community, Astrid & Miyu, Boucleme, Glow Bar, Kimai, Nudea, Pollen, Smith and Sinclair and Techstars, the campaign is currently sending out a goal amount of 25,000 period products to staff in need all over the UK.
Thanks to the overwhelming support of our community and the countless messages we’ve received asking for ways you can support the campaign, we’ve decided to take the fundraiser public in the hope that we can reach even more staff in need.
With £10k we’ll be able to send 50,000 period products to 500 NHS wards around the UK.
Any money raised from this campaign will go directly to funding the product, packaging, and delivery costs of getting these essential products to our most essential workers.
- Staff on NHS wards are coming off gruelling 48-hour shifts, limiting their access to supermarkets and sapping them of the energy and time needed to stand in lines at multiple shops to find their essential items such as fruit and veg, toiletries, and period products.
- NHS staff are underpaid yet utterly essential - now more than ever. Taking care of one of their more basic needs and expenses is just a small gesture of our gratitude for their hard work and the risk they put themselves through to ensure the safety of others.
- ohne’s organic period products are body-safe and good for the planet. All products donated will be vegan, cruelty free, and organic, with all packaging being biodegradable, recycled, and/or recyclable.

* A £3 donation supports 1 NHS worker for one period.
* A £15 donation supports 5 NHS staff for one month.
* And £30 supports 10 NHS staff members for a month.
* the above amounts are estimates only - every individual’s needs differ as no two periods are alike. All donation amounts go directly to helping us supply staff on NHS wards with free, organic period products.
