Yamilet Perez Machado with their older sister Barbara and brothers.
Yamilet Perez MachadoThe news cast from Univision Channel 23 in Miami, Florida .
Update: 2/5/2016
Unfortunately, Yamilet Perez Machado has passed away. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. God has gained two angels!
I am an employee and co-worker of one of the sisters and also the sister in law of the victim involved in the fatal accident that occurred on 2/1/2016 in Hialeah, Florida. My friend and co-worker are very humble people, they are a group of 5 brothers and sisters, 3 females and 2 males, their parents have both passed away and they are very close family and just 5 months ago the last reminding sister .arrived from Cuba with her husband and 11-year-old son, she left behind in Cuba her older daughter of 24 years old.
The sisters Yamilet 43 and Zolia 46 had gone earlier in that morning of that tragic day to turn in their paperwork, as they were both hired and were set to start work the next day. They were very happy for the positive beginning they would soon start and so early in the year. However, their destiny and those of their friends and family would be forever changed that tragic day.
Zolia, now deceased, leaves behind her 11-year-old son who not only is getting used to life in the USA but will have to do so without the love and support of his mother, which he was very attached to, and also a 24-year-old daughter in Cuba. We ask anyone that would like to contribute to this family to please do so. The funds would be used for funeral expenses and to help this little boy who's life will never be the same and forever has changed.
