Peregrines' life saving dental surgery

Hi, my names Dominic, and I am a new father, who has recently undergone ACL surgery (hamstring graph). I am landscaper(seasonal), who uses his body to work. To stay alive, while not working, with many added expenses, such as employees (doing what Id do for free), a child requiring childcare $ as I was not capable. Alongside many lengthy rehab bills and cabs to appointments, (unable to drive), it's fair to say 2024 was expensive.

I have a reactive dog (Mexican rescue) his name is Peregrine. He is the sweetest thing you've ever met, but outside on the streets he can be a lot to handle, for someone who has never worked with reactive dogs. Unfortunately as I haven't been able to do our 6am jogs (when less people are out and he can prance freely, like the happy dog he is), he has had much less activity than he's used to.

We brush his teeth, as we are aware that mini snauzers often have skin problems and a condition that can lead to rotting teeth, accompanied by extreme gut pains and this affects everything from digestion to happiness (as it causes a lot of pain/discomfort).

It was over Christmas, just as I began to barely be able to weight bare again, that we took him to see the Vet ($500), as he had a massive rash forming close to his jaw/neck, he then scratched it to oblivion. We got him the cream, a shot and he became my beautiful "conehead" for a while. Although that has since healed, the vet has informed us that he will require having about half his teeth pulled (the rotten ones) and that this will fix his gut, as the rotting goes down and leads to massive internal problems. They said, if surgery is done by March 5, 2025, removing the teeth, and changing a few things in his diet. He will be able to return back to normal, and live a long and healthy life. He is my best friend, and I hope to be able to go back to work by then, to afford this. Although I've been told I should wait another 6 months, given the nature of my work, and the intensity at which I carry it out.

So this is our hail Mary. Lula-rose (our beautiful daughter) absolutely loves her "pear pear" and he has been an absolute Rockstar for this family, whenever someone's been down and out, there's "grinny" running around the yard, coming up, to press his wet nose against yours and dry your tears.

We will do whatever it takes to save him, and give him a good life, but given the recent circumstances, it's feeling somewhat insurmountable odds.

Any help greatly appreciated, he's more than a family member, he is an inspiration to this whole community.

Every bit helps, please post/share with anyone who loves animals.
Thank you, from all of us. Dom/Em/Lula/Toofie/Axl/Peregrine
