Percy's Life-Saving Surgery

Hi Everybody,

A sad development has occurred tonight with our dear mascot, Percy, who has coliced (a serious equine stomach blockage) this afternoon. He has a blockage in his small intestine and is going into surgery to help save his life. We think this is likely to have been caused by fireworks set off near by last night, which has caused Percy minor colic before. This time is different and has serious consequences for our friend.

We are desperate to try everything to save our wonderful friend who brings happiness to so many who come to visit Harmony Stables every day. He makes us smile on the sad days and laugh at every opportunity. There is no other alternative to the surgery to remove the blockage and all we can ask is for any help people can give to help us give him everything we've got the power to give. He is having his surgery at Leahurst Equine Hospital .
