Hi everyone! Percy is having surgery on 12/29/2021.

Percy is my 95 pound, 8 year old Dogue de Bordeaux (French Mastiff). I adopted him 2 years ago from the dog daycare/boarding facility where I work. His previous owner needed to rehome him and he found his home with me! Bringing Percy home was one of the best choices I have ever made. He is so smart, affectionate, and ornery HAHA!

A few weeks ago he suddenly began limping so off to the vet we went. X-rays told us he has torn his ACL. (This is normal in older dogs; the ACL will degenerate with age..) The vet and I have monitored him for the last 2 weeks using a pain management plan. He has continued to overcompensate with the other leg, increasing the odds of him tearing his other ACL, so we’ve decided surgery is our next step! We have a long road ahead of us!

This surgery has been estimated to cost $3500-$4000. (I have an itemized estimate print out for verification!)
