Hi, my name is Percy, and I am a parent to two amazing daughters.

Over the past two years, my life has changed dramatically. I am navigating a divorce that has involved significant legal expenses while also working through recovery from PTSD and substance use disorder. Last month, my counselor encouraged me to pursue a higher level of care, and today (June 8) I graduated from a residential treatment program.

As I continue my recovery journey, I am moving into community housing and beginning an outpatient program that will last 3–6 months. To make this possible, I have taken unpaid leave from work while continuing to meet my financial responsibilities, including child support, housing costs, and other essential bills.

Asking for help is difficult for me. I'm not looking for a handout—I'm asking for a hand up as I build a stable foundation for myself and my family.

My goal is to raise $5,000 to help cover housing, transportation, legal expenses, medical bills, and basic living costs while I complete outpatient treatment and continue building a stable foundation for myself and my family.

Donations will help cover moving expenses, rent, groceries, medical bills, legal fees, and eventually the purchase of a reliable used vehicle. For the past three months, I've relied on public transportation, and having a vehicle would help me access treatment, work, and parenting responsibilities more easily.
