Hi everyone,

this is Garrett and Savanna Brittain. We are trying to help out our friend Percy. Percy is diabetic, and due to a low blood sugar level he collapsed Friday morning. When he became responsive he realized he had broken his ankle. Percy was taken by ambulance to the ER where it was discovered that he has multiple fractures to not only his ankle but also his foot. Due to the severity of the injury, they are working to get him in for surgery as soon as possible. As you may imagine, the road to recovery for an injury like this is going to be long. They are saying once surgery’s are complete the recovery time is typically 6-8 weeks but with Percy being a diabetic, it will be closer to 8-12 weeks. Possibly even longer. Percy is a well known worker in the food and beverage industry here in Charleston. Obviously he will be out of work for a long time and still has bills to pay (Plus medical bills). If you are able to help Percy in any way, please do! Once he is out of surgery and in recovery, we will be starting a meal train. Please be on the lookout for that as well!
