Perch Ducote

Spending time with Perch in Washington Square Park was always a meaningful experience. If you're on this page, I'll bet you were there with him at least once. It was his neighborhood hangout and for many of us, we can't go there without thinking of our Beloved Perch.

We’re honoring Perch with a meaningful, green gift by Adopting-a-Bench in Washington Square Park. The bench is near where he would go and workout two or three times a week. We hope it will provide solace for those who are tired or need a place to just "be". As part of the bench adoption, we’ll have a plaque engraved with this personal message:

We have adopted the bench for 10 years for $2,500. If you would like to contribute, please do. If we raise more than the $2500 we need, we will put that towards a celebration of life. We will have an official celebration in the spring and unveil the bench at that time.
