Help Pepper -A Fort Mac Dog in Need

Donation protected
Pepper is not your average dog and he was adopted from the Fort McMurray SPCA by a not so average young couple many years ago.

This couple went on to marry, have a little girl, and Pepper was there for it all. I've seen this handsome, wise pup cuddle up to my sister and my bro-in-law during the best and worst moments of their lives.

Pepper likes to hold hands, get close, and tuck his big, sooky head under your chin, (even if you just met him.)

He protects young children and loves the company of every animal and every human. My niece is with Pepper in the main photo. He lets her climb him, pinch him, grab him, hug him, and fall asleep on him all the time.

His best friend for life is a dog named Maddie, also a rescue. A dog that anyone else would have given up on. My sister Martha, didn’t. Her and Ryan refused to give up on Maddie even on her toughest days. Pepper loves her too.

The Osmond family had to leave the Fort McMurray fire in a hurried panic like everyone else. They drove north, stayed in a camp, then drove 8 hours to Edmonton, and today flew from Edmonton to Newfoundland with their daughter and both dogs with them the entire time.

It was easier to come to NL where there is lots of space for both dogs until they are allowed back to their hometown In Fort McMurray after the fire damage is cleaned up.

Pepper didn't handle all the travel very well, and he is now in emergency surgery for stomach flip (bloat), which is very, very serious.

The vet is quoting a "few thousand" for Pepper's surgery tonight. This is a huge bill for a family that has been on the move from the Fort McMurray fire for well over a week now.

I know my sister and bro-in-law will pay whatever it takes and suffer the financial consequence, but as someone who lived with this family, and loves this family, maybe I can so something to alleviate some financial stress they will certainly face.

Please donate to Pepper and the Osmond family if you can. He is the most handsome gentlemanly dog I have ever met. I've hugged Pepper through many of my own bad days, bad flu's, and spent many holidays watching him cuddle with his family and his best dog bud, Maddie.

If you would like to know if this is the real deal, please contact me and I will give you pictures and full details about who we are, where Pepper is in surgury tonight, and my Facebook page so you know we are the real deal. I will post follow up photos to Peppers surgery, and keep everyone updated. I know it's small, and I know a lot of money is going to Fort Mac right now, but lets give some of that to Pepper. He absolutely deserves it. <3

(I'm in the little facetime square on the left. "Auntie Heayer.")

Pray for this furry guy tonight. He’s got a lot of love to give.

I will keep track of all funds and be sure we don't go one cent over Peppers last quoted vet bill. I will post a picture of the bill here. I will also post videos and photos of his progress so you can follow along. If you e-mail me, I can skype or Facetime you to verify who we are, who I am, and how Pepper is doing. This money will go straight to peppers family only.
