Pepper’s Chemo Journey

Hello, I’m Pepper. I’m 6 years old, the best girl in the world. I love the beach, my ball, and basically every person I ever meet.

Please help us raise some money to continue Pepper’s chemotherapy and further cancer treatment.

In January 2025, after limping for two months, our beautiful Pepper went in for an X-ray which showed a mass on her back left leg. Further CT scans revealed this to be aggressive osteosarcoma (cancer of the bone) and soft tissue sarcoma and they had to amputate her leg immediately. This was deeply traumatic and heartbreaking for Pepper, and everyone who loves her.

Luckily, Pepper has adjusted so so well to the tripod life and is playing and running more than ever before!

Osteosarcoma is a very aggressive type of cancer in dogs, and the prognosis is not good. The only way we can continue to give Pepper the best life and keep her as long as we can is by giving her chemotherapy.

Pepper luckily has a great insurance policy, however after surgery, multiple scans and one round of chemo - we are almost at the end of our money and if we cannot afford more, will have to make some devastating decisions.

Pepper has changed so many lives, and is the reason we get up in the morning. We are not ready to say goodbye, and she has so much life left in her.
