My dad Avi and his wife Cecile are so close to owning their own home!  At the ripe age of 67 :) my dad (Aka Pepino) was laid off from his job in NYC for no reason. His brother Ilan also worked for the same people who employed my dad. Regretfully, Ilan died from neglect by that business in an accident at work. Not only did that business (namely - quartz masters) not pay damages to my uncle Ilan’s family, but they also fired my dad, leaving him without a job at 67 and without consistent income. 

Despite the hardships, my dad and his wife are only a few grand away from owning their own home back in Miami where they lived for many years before going to NYC!!!

They did everything in their power to create a situation where they could finally own (not rent) their first home at their age of retirement. They came across a very low priced apartment in Aventura Florida. It is a 2 bedroom, with balconies overlooking lakes  that they can finally host family that come from all over the world, live without having to move every year or 2 as a renter, and feel AT HOME!!! FINALLY !!

After a lifetime of hard work, Pepino & Cecile deserve a place to call home and rest easy.  I wish I could be the one to buy them a house......but since I’m not financially able, I am making this go fund me for our family and friends to come together and help make a great dream come true for 2 very special people.

Light hearted Pepino - who has always been a source of love and happiness for everyone he comes in contact with.  A man who came to America with nothing in his pockets and created a contracting career selling floors and being the best salesman I’ve ever seen. A salesman who uses friendliness, honesty &  humor in his work. A loving dad to us 3 musketeers and compassionate and loving husband to the one and only Cecile Fedida.
   
Cecile is a top hair dresser and artist, self made woman, who raised 4 great kids, one of them (an angel) who helped make this house purchase happen! Always doing for others, cooking up a storm and feeding our souls, making sure my dad, her husband, Pepino is in good health, that they have their records and finances in order, and the house is in tip top shape! Helping her friends, her kids, and her grandkids, Cecile deserves so much gratitude and love for all she does!

A fun fact from the past:

Back in the days of old, when a family needed a house or anything to help their household thrive, the community would come together and contribute their time and energy to help them build a house, get a horse, or start a farm! This is our chance to help Pepino & Cecile start their household and thrive!!
