Pepe has been surrender to us as his owners can no longer care for him and could not find a rescue to take him on. He has spent some time outside fending for himself between gardens and a tenfoot which leads onto a busy road. They have done the right thing by reaching out, but we need some financial help to foster him as we are not officially a rescue, despite having 7 rescue furbabies of our own.

We can provide suitable indoor space and the best food, hay, and treats money can buy, and plenty of love and expertise to rehabilitate Pepe, but need some help with vet bills to ensure Pepe gets the best medical care possible.

We have a preliminary quote from our vet for initial care which included Vaccination, Rearguard treatment (he has mites and probably worms), and the consultation fee, which comes to £232.01.

To rehabilitate Pepe may take several months, and finding a suitable foster or bonding with another rabbit, even longer. Our last foster was with us 9 months, so the cost of ongoing care really adds up. Therefore this GoFundMe will remain active to cover future costs.

Pepe will stay with us until he is rehabilitated, with the intension of adopting out to a vetted bun owner, preferably to be bonded with another bun or more.
