Pepenella Jr. (Mr. Pep) Tool Box Memoriam

It is with profound sadness that we announce that former Assistant Principal of Guidance, Mr. Antonio Pepenella (better known to all of us as “Mr. Pep”), passed away Sunday, May 10, 2020. Mr. Pepenella, was a keystone figure to the Aviation High School program. Graduates described Mr Pep, who devoted a forty year career to  his students and school, as  one who “touched nearly every soul he encountered”.

After speaking with the family, they have requested that instead of the traditional  collection anyone interested may contribution to the Antonio Pepenella, Toolbox Award fund for our graduating seniors. 

Mr. Pep, you will always be a beloved and respected role model and we will never forget your many contributions to the students of Aviation High School. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, his community, and with every life he touched.

May he rest in eternal peace, knowing that his influence has touched countless people.
