Kevin Needs A Helping Hand

Hello, my name is Kevin. I have resided in Philadelphia my whole life. I love this city and I am pleading for some assistance. Any brotherly love shown would be greatly appreciated. I am currently a nursing assistant and always do my best to help others. I am looking to advance my career and become a nurse in the future. This goal has taken the back burner due to my current situation.
With that said, we are in desperate need of some help. On February 3rd, our house was involved in a fire. The other house involved is now condemned and our home requires months of repairs. Although the fire was able to be contained and extinguished very quickly the damage suffered was too severe. Everything we have has incurred smoke damage and we have to start from scratch. We were able to stay with some family for a bit but now were are displaced at the Red Cross House. However, this is only a transitional facility and come March 1st we have to find somewhere or go to a shelter. The money we are asking for will go towards a deposit for a new place and new belongings. We were told to use any resources necessary to move on from this. I hate to ask but anything you can give will help get us back on our feet.
I have been through many obstacles in my life and this is by far the most difficult. We have turned to as many people as possible but we still need help. We are doing our best to stay optimistic and remain positive but we all know that is easier said than done. I would like to thank everyone that is willing to contribute. Keep in mind, a prayer and some kind words can go a long way too. Thank you for your time and consideration.
