We humbly reach out to you today ask for your generous support for our beloved kitty, Pepper (Pep Pep). Pep Pep has brought immeasurable joy to our lives since the day she entered our home. However, she has been diagnosed with a liver shunt, a condition that threatens her quality of life.
A liver shunt is a congenital abnormality where blood bypasses the liver, depriving it of the vital nutrients it needs to function properly. This condition not only causes her discomfort and pain but also poses severe health risks. Without prompt intervention, our Pep Pep's life hangs in the balance. The shunt allowes the blood to bypass the liver, which also doesn't let the liver filter out the toxins in her blood. Those continue to build up and go to her brain, causing neurological issues.
To give our Pep Pep the chance to live a long and happy life, we have consulted with veterinary specialists who have recommended a complex and costly liver shunt surgery. This procedure is Pep Pep's only hope for a complete recovery and a chance to experience the joys of a normal life.
The cost of the surgery, along with the necessary pre-operative tests, post-operative care, and medications, amounts to a substantial sum of around $10,000. It is in this time of need that we humbly turn to you, compassionate souls who understand the profound bond between humans and their furry companions.

We want to make it clear, however, we don't expect anyone to donate. We technically have just enough funds to cover her surgery ourselves, but it will be our entire savings. Not donating will not make it so Pep Pep's surgery doesn't happen. But we ask if you have anything to spare to help us not completely drain our life's savings, we would greatly appreciate it.
