The People's Central Kitchen is a communal kitchen located in Lebanon providing free daily nutritious meals for Lebanese and refugee families in need, in the hopes of alleviating hunger amidst the current economic crisis; exacerbated by the tragic Beirut explosion on Aug. 4, 2020 which left over 300,000 people homeless.

Away from political partisanship and sectarianism, and based on our belief in food security and the promotion of cross sectarian solidarity amongst the different factions of the lebanese society, the project is an initiative launched by independent individuals from the Lebanese and Arab diaspora through their NGOs: Mentissana (www.mentissana.org/peoples-central-kitchen) and the Migrant Kitchen NYC (www.themigrantkitchennyc.com).

The People's Central Kitchen has cooked and delivered 5,000 meals to date to families across all factions of the Lebanese society so far.  Please consider supporting us on our mission to help provide food security in Lebanon.  Any donation will make a big difference.
