People Watching is a multidisciplinary collective creating work that is intimate and inherently human.
This year we created our first full-length show 'Play Dead' and were blown away by the interest, love and support the project garnered. An enormous thank you to every soul who contributed time, wisdom and financial support, without you it would not have been possible.
We are extremely excited to announce that we have partnered with the unbeatable Berlin based booking agency 'Aurora Nova' who will join us for this next chapter in bringing our work on an international tour beginning in July 2024. You can find some of our future tour dates below!
Getting a show on the road takes a mind-boggling amount of organization, time and money; We are primarily supported through grants and arts funding, but in the current climate there is no guarantee this support will come through. We are reaching out to our community to assist with raising funds to help with these costs and get this show on the road!
All proceeds will cover the following:
Set construction:
To design and build a Europe based set, including the purchase of rigging equipment as well as acrobatic mats which are essential to the performance.
Administrative and technical support:
We have a very small team who are working hard to put in place all of the legal, administrative and technical infrastructure for a tour of this scale. The funds will compensate them for their assistance as well as the fees associated with visas, insurance and equipment freight.
Travel & Freight:
Proceeds will go towards supplementing the flight costs for our team, transport of set between venues and travel on the ground.
