In June 2026 my father lost his battle with Alzheimers after 6 years which broke my heart. I left my full time in education to become a full time carer for him as he was hero as he was for all his children. Some families are not able to give up a job to become a full time carer and need medical and social help for their loved ones suffering from this horrible disease. Today for 24 hours, Martin and the team at the Mancunian Way You tube channel will be promoting this charity trying to raise a minimum of £500 that will be paid directly to Alzheimers Research UK. Please give whatever you can to help families and nurses in their fight towards alzheimers and dementia in the UK.
