People in need - Sylhet Flooding

Heartbreaking to see the what’s unfolded in Sylhet overnight. Peoples homes are being washed away and they are having to evacuate under these circumstances with little to no food and basic necessities. I’m wanting to raise money as fast as possible for people in need stranded in the sylhet flood. My nephew Shadman (@shadmann18) lives in Sylhet so he will be distributing funds himself immediately to those who need it most. I will post photo and video updates on Instagram story @artofliza

Since fundraising we've managed to distribute aid to over 400 families within a matter of days. You can find all the photos and videos following the progress on my instagram story highlights. We have distributed dry food and medicinal packages by hand with the help of volunteeers to areas we could reach by boat surrounding Sylhet. Areas covered -
Pukurkhandi / Chhorkhandi / Baishtila primary school / Poschim Baishtila / 2 school being used as shelters

We are currently in the midst of planning a large distribution with the help of volunteers from the organisation @itshumanityfoundation to the Sunamgonj / Gowainghat area but waiting on supplies to arrive from Dhaka.  Updates will be on my instragam story and highlights - https://www.instagram.com/artofliza
