Hi, we’re Penrith pumas wheelchair rugby club! On Tuesday 3rd March our players will be pushing either 5K, 7.5K or 10K to raise vital funds for our upcoming season!

We are the only wheelchair rugby club in Cumbria, and we’re incredibly proud to have recently been awarded Charity Incorporated Organisation (CIO) status. Even more excitingly, after being promoted last year, we’ll be competing in the Premiership this season.

Disability sport doesn’t come cheap. Your support will help cover essential costs such as venue hire, specialist equipment, ongoing maintenance, travel, and team kits, all of which are crucial for us to compete at the highest level.

Our impact reaches far beyond Cumbria. One of our young stars proudly represented Team GB at the Wheelchair Rugby European Championships earlier this year, and several of our players are hoping to be selected for the first ever Wheelchair Rugby 5’s Home Nations.

We’re more than just a team… we’re a community, a support network, and a pathway for disabled athletes to thrive and achieve their potential.
