My name is Shanna, and I am the restaurant manager at the Parkview (Dugan House Restaurant). I am writing to inform you that our beloved server, Penny Decker, has recently been diagnosed with cancer.

Penny’s warm smile and gentle demeanor have touched the lives of many of you, and she is deeply missed, and we can’t wait to get her back to work. As a result of her illness, she is unable to work and will not be able to return to her job in the foreseeable future.

To assist Penny with her accruing expenses, we are organizing a pancake breakfast fundraiser in the near future. Any donations you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Penny is scheduled to undergo surgery on April 4, and we will provide updates on her prognosis as they become available.
