Hi, my dog, my love, my sassy lady Penny, has hurt her leg; she's torn her ACL and needs surgery to help bring back her quality of life. I rescued her from Richmond Animal Care and Control several years ago, and she's the light of my life. Pen's lack of boundaries and care for one's personal space is one of her best qualities as she throws her 72lbs of love around without care and snuggles herself into any open crevice she can just to be close to those she likes (she's a girl's girl).

All funds will be used for Penny's care. Right now, she is on some strong narcotics, and I'm trying to keep her as calm as possible, to not to worsen her condition. The ult.imate goal is to get .her the ACL surgery that will restore her quality of life. Penny is an active lady and loves to go on all the walks and hikes, and rides for all the fresh sniffs she can get! She's been my best bud - my nugget of love, traveling across the country several times, and loves to adventure.
