Penny’s Cancer Fight

For anyone who knows our family, will know it breaks our heart to be making this page.

A week ago, we were told our girl Penny had Kennel Cough and we were sent home with medicine and told she should recover within a week or two.

Unfortunately over that week she became quite sick and not herself. We took her back for X-Rays and a CT scan and were told it would be best to leave her at the emergency vet for close monitoring due to her awful cough.

We then received the dreaded phone call that our beautiful 3 year old girl has Cancer which has spread through her lungs, kidneys and spleen.

We are currently awaiting her final biopsy results in order to start Chemotherapy as soon as possible.

At this stage, we do not know how much time we have left with Penny, but we will do absolutely everything we can to keep her comfortable and well enough to stay with us as long as possible.

Penny means the entire world to us and we can’t imagine life without her in it. It will be a battle ahead but we know our girl is a fighter and we can’t give up on her.
