Imagine that you’re laying in bed and you have a sudden brain snap and think “Oh no, I forgot to pay the contents insurance, I better sort that in case the house burns down”.

Imagine the next day that the house burns down.

That’s the situation that Penny, Trevor and the kids find themselves. With 2 adults, 4 kids, a couple of dogs and a parrot living at home, life was hectic but fun.

A fire broke out in the kitchen and all of the humans and animals managed to get out from the fire. The parrot left everyone surprised (particularly the firemen) when they found him in his cage, alive and well.

Like so many fires, it’s the smoke and the water that causes so much damage. They literally have the clothes on their back.

As you could imagine, replacing a house full of clothes, bedding, beds, Christmas presents, kids toys, kitchen appliances etc etc is going to be tough with the added Christmas shenanigans.

If you could spare a dime or two, it would help get them started again and they will be forever grateful.

Just this week ABC Gippsland promoted their house as having the best Christmas decorations in Sale. All the love and energy they put into bringing joy to their neighbourhood has been lost…… for now.

I have set up this Go Fund Me as the recipients are my sister (Penny Gallagher) my brother-in-law (Trevor Dingwall) and my nieces and nephews.

As they have lost basically everything except the clothes on their backs, this fundraiser will help them rebuild their lives from the ground up. They have been fortunate to have a new house to live in, so now they need to rebuild literally EVERYTHING.
