Hi everyone,

We wanted to give you an update and say thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Our sweet miniature dachshund, Penny, made it through her emergency surgery, and we are finally back home together, beginning the healing process.

Penny was diagnosed with pyometra—a life-threatening uterine infection—and had to undergo emergency surgery to save her life. Her uterus had become dangerously swollen and infected, and without quick action, we could’ve lost her. Thankfully, the surgery went well, and she is now recovering, though still very sore and tired.

We’re so grateful she pulled through, but the medical bills from the emergency procedure, overnight care, and medications are overwhelming. We’ve done everything we can to get her the urgent care she needed, and now we’re asking for help from our community to support her continued recovery.

Penny means everything to us. She’s not just a pet—she’s family. Her love, energy, and little wagging tail light up our lives every day.
