Penny Simon's final farewell

Hello, my name is Samantha and I'm the eldest daughter of Penny Simon. My mother, Penelope passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at her home in Warrnambool, VIC on the 23rd of December, 2024.

Penny was one of a kind- she was a bit of a firecracker but had a gentle heart and compassionate soul. My mum was on a pension and living in government housing when she passed, there were no funeral funds in place. It's been a long process organising mums send off as she was at the coroners in Melbourne for an extended period of time over the holiday season. Then we had to organise transportation to bring Mum back to NSW to her hometown of Toronto. Here she will be buried with her son, Warren Simon who was killed in April 2023. As many of you know, funerals are costly. Although we've organised a modest send off, it's still proving to be difficult financially. We humbly ask you for any contribution, big or small as it will be greatly appreciated and ease the financial stress at an already challenging time.
