Hi, Laura Jennings Dail & I are creating this fundraiser for our friend Penny. She works very hard, having struck out on her own pre-pandemic & creating her own business. The problem is, if she can't work, she doesn't get paid. No sick time or PTO when you work for yourself! She's had a few setbacks lately: the recent ice storm kept her home for a week, then she had a fall that left her unable to work for several days. Now, she's been in a fairly serious car accident that leaves her needing surgery on her wrist. Not only will she be unable to work for some time, but there will be medical bills even though she has insurance. If you are able to donate any amount, we'd be so grateful!
