I am planning to try to run the 268 mile Pennine Way (with 36,000 ft of climbing) in 10 days - a marathon a day- between 3/04 and 12/04 to raise funds for the Disasters Emergency Committee.
The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) which brings together 14 leading UK aid agencies to raise money to help save lives and rebuild shattered communities - is appealing for funds to deal with the horrendous effects of the cyclone which has devastated Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe.
If you were able to donate anything per mile or per marathon completed that would be fantastic.
It will help to get me through the inevitable pain to know that each mile I struggle through will raise money to help those whose suffering is far greater than anything I will experience.
I will match every pound donated from my own funds.
Thanks for your support.
. (PLEASE NOTE: 100% of your donation will go to the DEC)
