My sister Layla is in need of assistance for her beloved dog, Penelope. She has a tumor on her paw that needs to be removed as soon as possible. The tumor could be potentially cancerous, but we won’t know for sure until it is removed. The cost for the procedure is a little hefty up front, which is why I have opened up this GoFundMe to help her out. All donations are incredibly appreciated and every little bit helps. Even if you can only spare the cost of a coffee to help Penelope, it could potentially save her life! Penelope is a rescued Pitbull mix with a loving demeanor who just celebrated her 13th birthday! This is not the kind of news we wanted for her going into her teen years.

Penelope was adopted at 2 years old and was like a rocket full of energy! Though she has calmed down over the years, she still loves to play tug, enjoys car rides (especially to get ice cream and Starbucks), and destuffs any toy she can. Her favorite toy is her caterpillar and, though she lives for human food, her favorite handouts are mashed potatoes, pasta, and cheese. Penelope is also very talented, having learned to sit, speak, twirl, roll over, and even bend and snap from Legally Blonde!
