My name is Penelope Medina. I attend Contra Costa School of Performing Arts, with Dance as my major. I have always loved to dance! My moms say that I was dancing before I even learned to walk.

I am so proud to announce that, this year (March 1 - 5, 2023), our dance team has been invited to compete at the prestigious "High School Dance Competition" in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dance teams from schools all over the U.S. will compete at this event. There will be over 200 workshops and master classes available. This will be such a fantastic opportunity for me to learn more about my art and gain serious competitive experience! It will be my first dance competition and also my first time traveling on my own. Our school is encouraging us to use our leadership skills and help fundraise for the trip. The expenses for this trip total approximately $1,200. Your donation would help me cover the following costs:
