Penelope Toledo

Hi! My name is Maiken Wedlock and I’m one of Ron and Laura’s neighbors.

Their daughter, Penelope was born on Monday March 25th. She had some trouble breathing and she was moved from Naples to Miami Childrens hospital and was diagnosed with Congenital diaphragmatic hernia. It means that her organs were pushing into her chest cavity and needed emergency surgery. Surgery was performed and successful and she is stable, however she needs to stay in Miami for the next 3-4 weeks and be closely monitored. After that she will be transferred back to NCH for the following 3-4 months. Ron and his family are very dear to our hearts and they need our help. Please keep praying for this amazing family and for Penelope’s recovery .
