Hi, Nana Shannon here reaching out to see if we can help my Daughter and Son in law at this difficult time. As some of you may know, Penelopehas been diagnosed with two rare heart defects, Interrupted Aortic Arch and Aortopulmonary window. She will join us via scheduled c-section on November 6th. She will be transferred within an hour to Rady’s Children’s Hospital and will undergo open heart surgery within 7-10 days. We are told she will be in the NICU for about a month after surgery. There will be medical bills, time off work, and we are hoping to possibly find an Airbnb nearby so that they are not having to drive back and forth as it is a 1 1/2 to 2 hour drive each way.
