Penelope Ann Chavez (8)
A parents worse nightmare came true for our friend, Dennis Chavez, when his 8 year old daughter Penelope was diagnosed with Leukemia on 11/14/19. Penelope fought through surgeries and chemo while having her father andloved ones beside her.
Unfortunately, Penelope lost her fight to cancer on 12/07/19 at 8:31pm.
Words from her father:
“She would leave me notes all over the house telling me how much she loved me and her mother. She was crafty loved drawing and making flowers out of colored paper. So loved playing with the grand babies her nephews. And she was so helpful and considerate. She would always sit next to me and hold my hand. She would always run to me after i got home from work and hug me and say i love you daddy. She was my light and my heart. Everything I did in life was for her. And a piece of me is gone now.”
Dennis Chavez, a US Veteran, has given so much of his life to serve our country.
He has given so much of his life to his family.
No parent should have to bury their only child.
Let us come together and support him in his time of need.
