Pen Y Fan 10 times in 24 hours

31st January 2022 is the day when as a family our lives were almost changed forever. It’s the day we took the phone call from Elis’s school that can only be described as every parents nightmare. Elis had choked on a sausage at lunchtime, which had become firmly lodged and was blocking his airways. Elis was in and out of consciousness for 20 minutes and his little body couldn’t take much more.

We understand how lucky we are to still have our precious boy with us and this is all thanks to the fast response from staff at Ysgol Saron and Air Ambulance who together fought tirelessly to save his life.

We will forever be grateful to all those involved and would really like to try to raise some money for Air Ambulance and Ysgol Saron. To do this I have set myself the challenge of walking up Pen y Fan 10 times (40 miles) in 24 hours along with Josh Williams we plan to do this on the 16th & 17th July (weather permitting). Anybody who wishes to join me on this challenge are more than welcome to, whether that be for the entire challenge or just a leg that suits you.
