Over the past 12 months we have experienced personal and professional growth, life-changing events, and created strong bonds with each other and city we call home, Memphis. The A15 Fellows class has committed to raising $15,000 to support 2 students in a future New Memphis Institute Fellows class.
One of the things we learned through the program is that our strengths are multiplied when we collaborate. We are asking for your help. Please donate what you can to help us achieve our goal of $15,000. This is an opportunity to “pay it forward.”
The New Memphis Institute Fellows Program is a 12-month engagement that gives high-potential, emerging leaders the tools, experiences and connections needed to become change agents, inclusive leaders and qualified city ambassadors. This program moves beyond simply exposing participants to community challenges. The curriculum empowers Fellows to take action, driving progress around our city’s most pressing needs.
During our year together, we participated in an in-depth community leadership curriculum and worked to actively address challenging civic issues and improve the quality of life in Memphis
The benefits of being a Fellow:
- Opportunity to take responsibility for community improvement
- Increased self-awareness
- Behind-the-scenes look at the history of Memphis from those who have lived through it
- Contact with a diverse network of individuals with a shared commitment to improving Memphis
- Links to seasoned executives and their community endeavors
- Enhanced skills in leadership, communication, team building, strategic planning, project management
