Peg's Amputation Surgery

Donation protected
On June 15th a little 5-week-old dilute calico long hair kitten was brought to the shelter. She was missing her left rear paw and the end of her stump was infected.
To prevent her from being euthanized my family took her in. With medication and care Peg's infection has cleared but her stump is still open and sore. She will need her femur amputated once she weighs enough. She is otherwise healthy and very sweet. She is playful with our current cats and enjoys being groomed by them.
With initial exams, surgery costs, and aftercare medication we hope to raise $1500 to cover most if not all expenses. With proof of being able to care for Peg financially, the shelter will allow us to adopt. As for now, she is a temporary foster while the shelter puts out a plea to rescues. We would love to have little Peg join our family permanently and provide the surgery she needs to live a full and healthy life.
Alta Loma Animal Hospital, with help from Angels of Rawley Foundation, have given us a quote. $1000 for amputation and spay surgery when Peg is 4 months old. Another $100 for post-op meds. The additional $400 is for recovery supplies and equipment. The doctor gave Peg a clean bill of health and we have 2 months to raise funds. If a rescue does take Peg we will donate all proceeds to them. If we are able to adopt, any excess funds not spent on Peg will be donated to Angles of Rawley for their aid.
