Executive Director Peggy Fielder is retiring from the Natural Reserve System at the end of June. Unfortunately, COVID restrictions on large gatherings have prevented us from planning a fitting in-person celebration.
Instead, we'd like to show our appreciation with a very special gift. We know Peggy is deeply fond of Hank Pitcher's paintings (Hank Pitcher website and on exhibition now). Hank, a long-time NRS friend and supporter, has generously offered to help us purchase a piece of his art that Peggy will adore. (*Please note, Hank's artwork shown here of our Sedgwick Reserve is an example of his work and not the gift piece).
We hope you will consider making a contribution toward this collective gift to show Peggy our deep appreciation for her twelve transformative years of service to the NRS. That said, we understand that the last year has been rough, particularly on the financial front, and would welcome contributions of any size.
We will host a virtual celebration in July (date and Zoom link to follow), so everyone can participate in the presentation and say goodbye. Additionally, please leave a celebratory message for Peggy in the comments section. We will compile your sentiments into a card.
If you have any questions, reach out to Mike Kisgen ([email redacted]) or Kathleen Wong ([email redacted]).
Thanks!
