Peggy is our beloved ER charge nurse, night shift extraordinaire. She's an everyday hero in scrubs, invaluable friend, and coveted mother. Last week, she beat insurmountable odds by not only making it to the hospital with an aortic dissection, but progressing astonishingly well with her repairative surgery and recovery. Her progress thus far is nothing short of miraculous. Peggy had also just completed rehabilitation from a broken hip just months ago. She'd returned to work for only a few weeks before disaster struck again, but Peggy is nothing if not resilient! Our goal is to reduce the financial burden of these hardships, so that her primary focus can be healing. Peggy spent the majority of her life caring for the sick, and now we want to give back, as family, as friends, and as nurses.

It's time for the healthcare community to rally around one of our own.
