Peggy's Final Expenses

Hello! My name is Laura Lemmons. As some of you know, on Thanksgiving evening my mother, Peggy Bruch, was hospitalized after she woke up without any feeling in her right leg and hasn't been home since. She was found to have bilateral iliac artery occlusions as well as a 99% blockage in one of her heart arteries. On December 3rd, she had 2 stents placed in her heart artery. Once her heart was deemed strong enough, on December 10th she had an axillobifemoral surgery to regain blood flow to her legs. Once she was stable enough, she was discharged to a rehab facility to begin physical therapy on her birthday, December 17th. While in the rehab facility, she developed a GI bleed and a blood clot in her leg which sent her back to the hospital. She had to have an IVC filter placed to keep the blood clot from traveling to her heart and lungs and multiple endoscopies and a colonoscopy to find where the GI bleed was coming from. Once they found where the bleed was coming from, she was sent emergently into surgery to control the bleed. They believed they controlled the bleeding, but 2 days after being discharged back to the rehab facility, she developed another GI bleed and was sent back to the hospital, where she currently is at. Needless to say, between the ER visits, surgeries/procedures, CVICU stay, Rehab facility, regular ICU stay, and general hospital fees, the medical bills have began to pile up to an astronomical amount (even with insurance). Many friends and family have asked what they can do to help, so I'm creating this gofundme account for my dad, Rick Bruch, to be able to receive support/help with starting to pay some of these bills.
