Help is needed for funeral expensesl

I was blessed to have met an incredible person named Peggy A. Torres. We were friends/sisters for many many years. She was an incredible person... beautiful, intelligent, classy, talented, bubbly, loved animals, and was so kind and caring to everyone. Peggy had an infectious laugh and was always ready to be there for anyone who needed help.

My dear friend just passed on Nov.15, 2024. Peggy endured a 7 year battle with various types of cancer... she was always fighting hard, going into remission, to then be told that the cancer appeared somewhere else. She kept her struggles and pain quiet, as she never wanted to burden anyone. Unfortunately, she never had children. Peggy took care of her parents until their last breath. She moved to Florida to fight her battle alone. Peggy had a big sensitivity to the dying, and with much compassion, she helped support many others during their end of times with love. Peggy used to go to her cancer center for treatments with style (and even funny glasses) and always encouraged other patients to have hope and faith. She often told funny stories to other patients or make them laugh so that they wouldn't feel so sad. Peggy always felt that every person deserved that final piece of dignity, peace, joy, and love. She had a heart of gold.

Many didn't know of her struggles, because she always kept a brave face and a smile. Her favorite words "don't worry about me, everything is going to be ok". All the while, she was suffering physically, and financially. No one knew, as she kept it to herself. Sadly, she was unable to get a life insurance policy, as she didn't qualify for an affordable plan. Her expenses as a cancer patient and living alone was a true hardship. She always did her best to survive in many ways.

So now there is one last struggle that needs to be completed, one that must be done for her: a request for assistance in giving this beautiful human being a dignified goodbye. So I humbly ask for you to open your hearts and please help us to raise funds for her funeral. No donating is too small. Every bit helps to achieve this goal for Peggy. I pray that she can have a respectable farewell... and may God bless you and repay you for your kindness and generosity. Her heroic fight deserves the reward of a proper funeral.
