My mom was recently diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer which has metastasized to her tailbone. She is starting treatment and radiation this week. The cancer was finally discovered after a work injury back in November that kept progressively getting worse. First she was put on light duty at work and went thru multiple physical therapy sessions. Until the pain was too much to bear and she could no longer continue her employment back in January. Work mans comp has not provided her with any payments towards lost wages, they have only covered medical bills. Now they are threatening to drop that coverage as well stating the cancer caused her injuries. Because of her injury the cancer was found but it should have been found far sooner than it was. She has suffered in silence for too long and I pray that because of this it's not too late to win this fight. She's keeping a positive attitude and even quit smoking cold turkey the day that she was diagnosed. She wants to live. As of now she is waiting for disability to get approved and has no income to pay her bills. Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated. My mother has always been a caretaker. As a nurse she has eased the pain of countless others. If you are able to contribute financially or even just in prayer to help her kick cancers a** my family and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You will never find a soul more beautiful than that of my mother's, not in heaven or on earth.
