If you knew Peggy you know that her church, her dog Skippy and what family she had left was her life. She was loved and admired by anyone who spent any time with her.
Peggy passed unexpectedly on May 12th in her home with Skippy at her side.
Peggy was the type of woman that could inspire any young woman to reach for their goals and achieve them.
She gave so much, even when she had so little.
In her spare time she would knit hats for under privileged babies with her church group and drop them off at local hospitals. I can assure you that every tiny cap was knitted with love.
Peggy is succeeded by 2 of her daughters, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Being the caring sole that she was she never wanted to burden her family with the thought of her passing. Unfortunately, with her unexpected passing this means that we were not prepared. We are asking for any help that you can spare to help give Peggy the funeral that she deserves.
Peggy loved her independence and the city she resided. Even when her entire family was gone and her 2 closest surviving relatives, her 2 daughters moved 1000’s of miles away, she still wouldn’t leave Northern California (no matter how hard we begged her). This has been our biggest obstacle and financial burden. We plan to use donations towards travel expenses, the memorial, her cremation and the moving of all of her belongings to a storage unit, and everything else that is involved to lay her to rest.
Please help our family bury our Mom, Grandma, Great grandma. Any thing you could give would be a godsend to her family.
