Peggy Gilmartin needs our support

Peggy has been working as an aide for a family for almost five years, helping care for their parent.  About a week ago, she was hospitalized with shortness of breath.  She has since been diagnosed with late stage lymphoma and is in the hospital getting her first round of chemo.  Because she has been hospitalized she has lost her ability to work as well as her place to live.  Because she has worked as a home health aide most of her entire life caring for others, she has virtually no money in the bank and could really use any help anyone would offer.  Her insurance will require a 40% copay for her hospital stay and she will need to find a new place to live when she is discharged, will need to find a temporary place to live for approximately 5 months while finishing chemotherapy requiring some form of rent and deposit and might need aide care herself - as she has an HMO based in San Diego and no family in San Diego.  She is single, has no parents, and no children to rely upon.  We are working with social workers at the hospital to see if she is eligible for any benefits but in the meantime,  she really needs your help.  Please keep her in your prayers and thoughts and please consider helping her financially as well.
