Mom established the Peggy Welch Music Scholarship Fund in 2018 to recognize a Sevier County High School (SCHS) choir member who has achieved excellence in music. Each year, the scholarship awards $1,000 to a member of the SCHS Concert Choir who has achieved worthy marks of dedication and success, including All-East and All-State honors. Mom loved the SCHS Choir with all her heart; any donations to the scholarship would be tributes to her legacy and greatly appreciated by recipients who wish to further their music education.
