Dalton, who turned 18 last November is currently waiting for a liver transplant at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans.
Dalton is on both the regional and national organ procurement list. The leading liver transplant doctor in the nation has put Dalton in the Number 1 spot on the Recipient Registry. The doctor said in his experience, this means Dalton could have a liver very soon.
He has been moved to ICU - Protective Bubble environment, to keep him "well" until his surgery. He is in quite a bit of pain, but managing with meds. They continue to "prep" Dalton for his transplant.
Donations are being accepted to help cover medical bills. His father, Jon, is his sole support and will be out of time at work. All donations will help to cover his medical expenses.
