Please help us Honor my mother!

My name is Amanda, I am setting this up for my mother Tracey.  My mother is without a doubt one of the strongest people I know and have ever met; I am lucky to have her in my life.  My mother has been through more than anyone else I know and last June we got news that would change all of our lives forever.  My older sister Jen, my little brother Paul ,and I got the news that our mom was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and at that time they only gave her six weeks to live. Heart broken and terrified, I could not imagine not having my mom here with us.  All I kept telling her and continue to tell her is to not give up, keep fighting I need you.  A grandmother of 5 between the three of us and they all just adore her and can not wait to go to her house to go swimming and spend time with her in her garden of orchids; which she just loves.  Almost a year later and she is still fighting and not ready to give up.  These past eleven months have been rough. The chemo that was helping her battle this cancer is no longer working for her; her body just can't handle it anymore.  So they have started a clinical trial of shooting antibodies in to her port and helping build up her immune system so it can fight the cancer.  One CT scan down since starting this new apporach and we gotsome good results.  My mom will continue the trial for another 2 months and then get another CT scan in hopes of seeing more good results and that the trial is continuing to work.  My mother has worked since she was 18 years old for the same company and this August will make 39 years. My mother has never been the type to just lay around and do nothing; so now that she can no longer work and had to go on disability is making things extremely tough. The procedure will be every two weeks for half an hour of them shooting anit-bodies in to her port at $500.00 each procedure. That is $1,000.00 a month just to get the procedure. My mother has not been able to work because of how awful she feels, but with bills piling up and CT scans and bone scans and doctor visits. I am sure you all can imagine how quickly it adds up.  I am asking for help, even one dollar can help make a difference and all the prayers you can send up for her! I love my mom and I am willing to help her in any way I possibly can.
