Our father Pedro suffered a blood clot on his leg on June 24th and was rushed into surgery. We received news hours later that they only removed half of the clot, but due to an embolism it had spread to his heart, and up to his brain. We ultimately made the decision for him to have neurosurgery to save his life, although we risked him losing the leg. The surgery relieved pressure in his brain, and we were told from doctors that he could get more strokes from the clot in his heart, which ended up happening the following days. His body and mind have been through so much, but he’s been very strong and we are so grateful that he is still here with us. Unfortunately, his coordination and balance have been affected by the clot in the cerebellum, so he’s now disabled and doing physical therapy so he can learn to walk again. Your donations will help us pay for medical bill copays, insurance premiums, his rent/personal bills, medications and supplies. It has become very overwhelming for us since we are the only daughters he has for support. We are extremely thankful for your help during these difficult times of change. Thank you and God bless.
