Pedro’s Half Marathon

With my beloved granddad passing away recently, having suffered with Alzheimer's in his latter years, as well as my mother-in-law sadly passing away last year with early-onset Alzheimer's, this has been a disease that's been tragically close to home. 

I only started running moderately long distances a few months ago, and have steadily looked at how much further I can push myself. This will be the farthest distance I have run to date, and want to commemorate this milestone by raising money for charity.

I want to do something difficult and raise money and awareness whilst doing so. If you could join me in this by donating whatever you're willing to contribute, it would be massively appreciated and go some way to help fund research and help those suffering with dementia.

One in three people born in the UK today will develop dementia in their lifetime. I don’t want anyone to face the realities of dementia alone. That’s why your support is vital.

The Big Half Marathon will be on Sunday 3rd September.
