The Story
If you've ever pulled through the gates at Arrowhead Creek Vineyards, you already know Mark and Kim. And if you know Mark and Kim, then you know this simple truth: if you weren't family by the time you left, they did something wrong.
For the past three years, they've poured everything into that stretch of Hill Country along the Pedernales — not just growing a vineyard, but growing a community around it. They've hosted weddings and celebrated with strangers who became friends. They've opened their gates, their table, and their hearts to anyone who showed up. Nobody left without a story, a laugh, and a standing invitation to come back.
On 7/14/26 the Pedernales River took their home.
The water rose faster than anyone could have imagined. While the rest of us knew Mark and Kim through the tasting room, the flight room and the land along the river they so freely shared, their home on the property was where they retreated at the end of every long day of hosting everyone else. When the water finally receded, it was gone. Furniture, clothing, keepsakes, [family photos, heirlooms]. Everything they owned, swept away in a single night.
They gave the best parts of that property to all of us — and now the one part they kept for themselves is gone.
They are safe, and we thank God for that. But right now, the two people who made a home for everyone else don't have one of their own.
Where Your Donation Goes
Every dollar goes directly to Mark and Kim for:
• Right now — temporary housing, clothing, food, and daily essentials
• Cleanup — debris removal and clearing the home site
• A home again — replacing what the river took, whether that's a new home on the property or rebuilding from the ground up
• Starting over — replacing appliances, furniture, and the basics most of us take for granted
