Hi! We’re Taliesin and Rachael, a couple from England with a dream: to elope to Scotland in the most adventurous and meaningful way we can imagine- by cycling the entire length of the UK, just the two of us.

In April 2026, we will be setting out on a once-in-a-lifetime journey:

This won’t be a big wedding with speeches and seating plans. We’ve chosen to keep it intimate- just us- due to a deep desire for serenity and freedom on our wedding day.

We want our marriage to reflect our values of encouragement, awe and optimism.

Why We’re Doing It This Way

We both care deeply about the planet and try to live as lightly as we can. Choosing to travel by bike, rather than flights or cars, is part of how we’re honouring that commitment. By camping, packing light, and treading carefully, we’re turning our wedding into an adventure that celebrates the world we love and want to protect.

This journey is also about slowing down, experiencing the land beneath our wheels, the people we meet along the way, and the quiet moments that remind us why we chose each other.

We're aiming to raise £3,000 to help cover the basic costs of the trip and make this dream possible. We're doing everything we can to keep expenses low and eco-conscious, and your support means everything.

Meet Us:

Taliesin is a skilled cyclist who commutes daily by bike, rain or shine. He’s a proud nerd with a deep love for Doctor Who, a good cup of tea, and anything sci-fi. When he’s not pedalling or geeking out, you’ll find him baking something delicious, admiring wildflowers, or finding peace outdoors. He’s deeply passionate about sustainability and living in harmony with nature- always looking for ways to make the world a little better.

Rachael is a poetic soul with a wild streak, she thrives on adventure and loves pushing her own boundaries. She’s walked on hot coals and wing walked to raise money for charity, and is always up for something brave if it means helping others.
